When the compressed gas to be processed enters the filter, the flow rate slows down and the large droplets fall down under the action of gravity.

When smaller diameter liquid droplets and solid particles pass through the filter element with the gas, they are captured by the filter material due to inertial collision, and gradually condense into larger droplets to stay. Smaller solid and liquid droplet particles do not change direction with the air flow, but undergo Brownian motion. Once they are close to the filter material, they will be adsorbed on the filter material under the influence of the electrostatic attraction of the glass fiber.

The filtered water collects at the bottom of the filter and is drained out through the drain pipe. To protect the environment, it is recommended that discharged oil and water be collected in a special container and not discharged directly into public sewers.

The RSGA type is used to concentrate water vapor and oil mist when they are really small. Solid particles as small as 0.01 microns (0.01 PPMW/W residual oil content) can be separated in water vapor and oil mist when they are really small.

The inner and outer filter elements are corrosion-resistant and the outer coating is a sealed foam sleeve.
