Hydraulic Filters- The Guardian of Mechanical Hearts

hydraulic filters

Hydraulic filters are used in hydraulic systems to remove solid particles and gelatinous substances from the working medium, as well as to filter out solid impurities introduced from external sources or generated internally during system operation. They effectively control the contamination level of the working medium, safeguarding the normal operation of mechanical equipment, and are an indispensable part of pipeline series for conveying media.

Hydraulic filters are primarily installed in various positions within hydraulic systems, including the suction line, pressure line, return line, and bypass, as well as in standalone filtration systems.

Product Uses Of Hydraulic filters

Hydraulic filters are vital components of pipeline series, usually positioned at hydraulic system inlets. Their role is to filter metal particles and impurities from fluid media, ensuring machinery and equipment function correctly.

Hydraulic filters have a wide range of applications, covering nearly all industries: steel, power generation, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aerospace, papermaking, chemical engineering, machine tools and engineering machinery, construction machinery, and more.

Scope of Application Hydraulic filters

Used for filtering in hydraulic systems of rolling mills, continuous casting machines, and various lubrication equipment.

Maintenance Methods

The maintenance methods for hydraulic filters are as follows:

Before replacement, drain the original hydraulic oil and inspect the return oil filter, suction oil filter, and pilot filter for the presence of iron chips, copper chips, or other impurities. If present, there may be faults in hydraulic components. After inspection and repair, clean the system.
When changing hydraulic oil, all hydraulic filters (return oil filter, suction oil filter, pilot filter) must be replaced simultaneously. otherwise it is equivalent to not replacing them.
Identify the grade of hydraulic oil. Do not mix hydraulic oils of different grades or brands, as this may cause reactions or deterioration leading to flocculation. We recommend you using Btlas vacuum pump filter. If you want to know more information, please contact us in time.
